Made entirely from Irish peat.
As one sixth of Ireland is covered in bogland, the people of the Irish countryside had many uses for this vast resource, most of all, fuel for the turf fire and insulation in the walls of their windswept cottages. This meant the family spending long days in the bog cutting turf and carrying a traditional creel (basket) home filled to the brim.
