Card depicts Diarmad and Gráinne, the great lovers of Irish mythology, who eloped and were chased the length and breadth of Ireland by Fionn MacCumhaill and his band of warriors "Na Fianna". All over Ireland there are rocks, caves, mountains and other features of the landscape where the lovers were said to have taken shelter. Ben Bulben, a mountain in County Sligo, features prominately in the legend of Diarmad and Gráinne.
